MTV Global Rebrand
This is the first global brand redesign in MTV’s history. It provides a simple and flexible system that prioritizes user experience across all places and spaces. It leverages the legacy of the M and the logo in a new and visually exciting way. We created a custom font and tri-color palette that nods to our origin story and provides own-ability, expression and emotion. This allows us to showcase content – without getting in the way of the stories being told, strengthens brand equity and builds brand attribution. Based on our growth in social, linear and streaming - we know it worked.
